PINO MONGELLI - The Pioneer
When I started the my videography business in the 1980s, it was not popular to have your wedding captured on video. The technology was limited, with enormous shoulder cameras and long extension cords. I can’t believe how far this industry has come in such a short period of time. I always had an interest in photo and video production and while working as a DJ at a wedding in 1982, I saw a videographer in action and knew this was my calling. Over the years, Live Video Productions expanded when I trained my two sons, Domenic and Tino, to learn the family business. I was blessed to have two children who shared my passion in the art of video production. Since my retirement in 2010, Tino has taken this family vocation to the next level. I am proud father, as I am here to witness and be a part of this journey with him.
ROCKY POLIDORO - Post Production Guru
Film is my personal escape into a world of wonderment. Watching a story evolve, makes me fall in love with everything about it. When I first started producing my own content, it was on actual film. Editing was done by physically cutting the film in a particular order to construct the vision I had in my head. Throughout my career, I’ve worked on indie and feature films, television shows, and music videos. These experiences are brought into the content I produce today. I am fortunate to have found Tino and Ill Productions. I am thankful for all my stops along the way, but I finally know what it’s like to be home.
GIOVANNI ITALIANO - The Perfectionist
My name is Giovanni. I am an Honours Graduate of both Humber and Seneca College, where I have studied Television Broadcasting, Creative Photography and Media Fundamentals. My passion for videography began when as a child. I would developed a keen curiosity about the creation of films and television shows. I’d attempt to replicate various scenes with my camera. My education and my years of experience in video production allow me to use my technical and creative skills to capture the most special of moments in your important day. I look forward to telling your story through my lens.
MATT RYAN - Master of Light
With a background in portrait fashion and product photography and a love for cinematography, becoming a wedding videographer was inevitable. Every couple looks their best on their wedding day and I try to exhibit this beauty through cinema. Your wedding video amplifies the aesthetic you have created for the day and should be something you rewatch like one of your favourite films. This is my ultimate goal. As for who Matt is, I'm an explorer with a mild coffee addiction, an affinity to try new foods, and a walking encyclopedia for pop culture references. The irony is when I started in the film industry, I did not think weddings were on the agenda. Now, I can't imagine doing anything else. This has become a way to take everything I enjoy about filmmaking and combine it with my passions for storytelling and beauty. Above all, I am overjoyed to share it all with you.
